    An effect skips one frame.

      Hello.
I'm following this tutorial http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/speed_particles/ . The particles with the starglow disappear for one frame when it start to animate. I've done everything in the tutorial. I will post three photos of three subsequent frames of the problem so you can get a clear idea. The second photo is where the effect vanishes. The opacity is at 100% all the time.

It is a lot easier to see your images if you simply drag them to the reply field on this forum.

The most likely solution is to purge your image cache - you will find purge under the Edit menu. Purge everything.

If that does not fix the problem then make sure AE is up to date and restart your computer.

If that does not fix the problem then select al layers and press the U key twice to reveal all modified properties in your layers and then look for keyframes or settings that may be causing the problem.

And, when Rick says to make sure it's up to date, he means checking that your version number is 13.7.2 if you're on a Mac and 13.7.1 if you're on Windows. Just checking if the CC app says you're up to date doesn't work because it LIES.

Thank you for helping me but I just closed the program and started it again and I didn't have this problem all of a sudden.
