OS: Mac OS El Capitan V 10.11.2
InDesign Version: 2015.2 Release, 188.8.131.52 Build
Computer: 2012 27" iMac, 24GB Ram, 3.4GHz Intel i7, GTX 680MX
Problem: Simply put, I cannot drag and drop to move objects, duplicate them, pages, anything at all really. It is not a mouse problem, guaranteed. The problem is intermittent. Turning the computer off and back on fixes the problem for a little while and then it stops working again until I turn the computer off and on again. I've looked into this all over online, and while I've found lots of people with the same problem, I haven't seen a fix. I am paying $50 a month for Adobe CC and I am very unhappy about this. It's been occurring for several months and has persisted through multiple updates of both my OS and CC version. It is a HUGE waste of my time to have to save and close out of every single one of my files, on all of my open programs, and restart my computer just to use a basic function in indesign.
Side note: The only way I can move objects is nudging with arrow keys.
I had this same exact problem a couple of months ago. Ridiculous solution that worked for me... re-install Creative Cloud. I know, why would that have anything to do with it? No idea, but it fixed it. I'm talking about just the CC app - not all of your apps.
