When I edit a photo in Lightroom using the On1 plugin, the plugin will not close when I quit Lightroom or try to force quit On1. Each time I edit a new photo with the On1 plugin, it opens up another On1 icon in my dock, so they proliferate with there being as many icons as photos I've edited in On1, none of which quit. Then, when I shutdown my computer, I have to manually force it to shut down by holding the power key since it can't shut down normally as the On1 program will not quit. I have uninstalled and performed clean reinstalls of Creative Cloud, LightroomCC and On1 to no avail. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Please try turning off the GPU from the Lightroom preferences.
Go to Lightroom Preferences from the Edit menu
Click on Performance tab
Uncheck the Graphics Processor

Unfortunately this did not solve the problem. Please offer further
suggestions. Should I turn the GPU processor back on? What difference does
having it on or off make to the functioning of Lightroom?
