Sorry to hear you're having troubles. Can you please share what error Clip is giving you when you attempt to add photo's? Could you also let us know which version of Clip and iOS you have?
You might try to the following to see if it helps:
- Sign out and back into Clip
- Verify Clip has been given permission to access your photos. You can do this by going to the Settings app > Scroll down down until you see Clip towards the bottom >Tap on Clip > Photo's is enabled.
- Uninstall and reinstall Clip
Hope this gets you up and going! Let us know.
Were you able to find success with Peter's insights?
I'm still not having success- it will take images from lightroom, but I am noticing that not all of the images in lightroom show up as available in clip. Also when I try to use images from creative cloud they are all grayed out. When I try to use them from my iPad, it lets me choose them but then gives me a message saying some of the images I have chosen are unavailable - even if I just choose one image. It seems to pick and choose what it will recognize in a way that I can't decipher what the problem is. I'm using Ios 9.3.2 and clip version 2.1.0
Is there a file size limitation on the images? I think I am noticing that images on my iPad that are higher resolution are not being accepted. I still can't figure out why it won't let me use my assets on creative cloud.
Thanks for following up Toby. Sorry my first round of suggestions didn't help.
Can you tell us what file types you're trying attempting to import but are failing, e.g. .jpeg, .png, .tiff? I'm not aware of any resolution limitations but I'd like to test that theory. Can you also tell me what the resolution is of the files that are not importing?
Sorry again for the inconvenience.
they are .jpg files and 6000x4000 and in the 12 to 14 MB size range. There is also the issue with not recognizing creative cloud assets too. Thanks, Toby
Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce the issue you're having. I was able to successfully import files sizes over 8k x 8k and 50MB. Would you be willing to share one of the problematic files so that I can test with it? If so, please upload to any file sharing site and I'll give it a go.
Sorry I don't have better news at this point.
