    Update to the new creative cloud and Lightroom now it runs horribly


      I just did the update to the new creative cloud and Lightroom (I don't use photoshop ever) and now my lightroom hangs every time I click on import. I have a mac book Pro, Mac OS is fully updated, I have rebooted several times. The only thing on my Mac besides Adobe CC is my pictures. I don't even browse the Internet from my Mac.  don't have camera software running, all I do is jack my SD card into the Mac and pull the pictures over manually. Any ideas on how to fix this? If I try to revert back to a previous version what will happen to my library I have a ton of work I would like to not lose.
