Buttons don't work at end of slide in Captivate 4.

I have three buttons in a slide that when clicked show text. The slide is 11 seconds long at 30 fps ( audio is playing). The system var "rdinfoFrameCount" shows 329 frames. When the slide reaches the end, the buttons no longer provide an action. The rollover still turns into a hand cursor, but the "show" action no longer works. If I back up at least 8 frames it does. I have backed it up with code and with the movie control. When I click on the button the slide plays to the end and I'm stuck again. I wrote code to go to frame 320 if the frame count = 329. It works for one click, the second time around the slide turns white.

Help!

Hi there

You might try configuring the Button to pause sooner than it does.

What is your button programmed to do? From what you have described, some action is causing the playhead to continue and advance into the "Inactive" part of the Button. When that happens, the Button is visible, but dead to the world.

The three buttons are programmed using the "show" function in Captivate to show additional information. They also call a custom javascript function to ensure all of the buttons are clicked before showing the "Next" button in the html parent page.

Your solution works as long as the pause is different for each of the buttons.
