I was just watching a bit of video on how to edit video on Lightroom (Lightroom CC - Working with DSLR Video - YouTube), and my question is, If you use the curve tool in the Develop module on a still image from a video, would the effect used through the curve tool to change the image's effect, then carry through to the full video even if it also has a preset on it such as a VSCO preset?
I believe your preset would get overwritten with the Develop Module changes that you made. Which is true for still photos as well, if you apply a preset and then make lots of changes, it essentially overrides the preset.
And there is no way to do anything about that?
I have no idea exactly what you want to do. Once you change a slider, whatever setting the preset for that slider was set to, the effect of that slider is overridden by the new value you just chose.
