I'm creating a simple app in PhneGap Desktop for Mac. When I open the app on the iPhone (via the PhoneGap interface) the resolution is not the optimal iPhone 6 one of 1334x750px
Am I missing a setting or similar? I have the following in the <head> section but still having the same problem:
<meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=no, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, minimum-scale=1, width=device-width, height=device-height, target-densitydpi=device-dpi" />
Apps need to provide a launch image for the larger devices in order for iOS to run your app at native resolution. What launch image sizes are you currently using? What version(s) of PhoneGap and cordova-ios are you using?
Not sure what you mean "via the Phonegap interface" -- are you using the Phonegap Developer app? If so, it should already provide the native resolution as long as you've got a recent version (mine does; it's at 1.7.0).
Thanks for the reply - I am using the developer app, seems to be the most recent version in the app store so hopefully no problems there.
I'm not sure what you mean by:
Is the issue possibly that I'm not using a "launch image"? Is there documentation on this aspect somewhere I have missed perhaps?
