You can deactivate the Lightroom from the Help menu, if its a older version Or you can Sign out from the Creative Cloud desktop app if its a Lightroom CC 2015 version.
Let us know if that helps.
Lightroom 6 stand-alone does not have Activate/Deactivate under "Help" !
In LR6 , just sign out. The standalone version of LR6 has (for the first time) activation.
You will find it under Help
Or Simply use the uninstaller.
Hi, my device was stolen in a burglary (computer has been remotely locked so is unusable now). How do I go about installing Lightroom and Photoshop on my new conputer when I can't deactivate from the old device?
We understand your concern.
I checked your records and have updated them for Photoshop CS6 but Lightroom is not registered in your account.
Go online at Adobe ID and register your Lightroom program so that I can update for it as well.
Apart from that, you get two activation with one serial key so you should be able to install and license Lightroom without any issues if this is second device.
Let us know if you face any other issues.
Thanks for the info. As a hobby photographer, I bought a Lightroom 5 licence which allowed me to install it on two different devices, so I have it on my iMac at home and on a laptop with both working fine. However, I now wish to remove it from the laptop and reinstall it on another notebook type laptop. It is not clear to me how I do that.
I believe that my product is already registered as I went onto the Adobe website and it tells me that's the case.
Can I just put the program onto a thumb drive and move it?
Many thanks again
