PhoneGap Build does not use the same directory structure as PhoneGap Desktop/Developer or the PhoneGap CLI.
I downloaded your APK, and saw the following structure:
index.html (the original HTML from the template)
index.html (your HTML code)
The config.xml does looks like the default from the template as well.
Can you share the directory structure of what you uploaded to PGB? PGB will expect the contents of your "www" directory in the root of the zip file, along with "config.xml" in the root as well. So what you should upload would look like this:
That's all wrong.
Move config into /www, adjust the paths to icons and splashes, then zip up the contents of /www.
Never send /platforms and /plugins to Phonegap Build
OMG, I knew that from previous builds. But forgot it. Thanks a million..
I'm just new to Phonegap, and had the same problem as the OP. Thankfully I found this thread, however I've not quite got it. I moved the index.html into the root directory as you said, and after build I am getting the correct text, but not the graphics. You said to "adjust the paths to icons and splashes" - where do I do that? (I'm still at the "Hello World" stage, so I haven't encountered this yet - just going through getting the results to work on my phone first and foremost so I can check it as I'm going. I had the app working in the desktop version, but didn't work when I tried build, as per OP)
I never suggested to "move index.html to the root".
Please, read again, carefully.
Sorry, that was someone else, which then influenced my reading of what you subsequently wrote. Will try what you said (without the confusion this time :-) ). Thanks!
Success! Thank you! :-)
