I feel very confortable working with CS6 and don't see necessary to upgrade.
But my question is not about software but about hardware.
I' want to upgrade graphic card to GTX 1080 and I'm not sure how integrated and compatible is the work with Premiere Pro CS6.
Do I need to edit the "Cuda Supported cards" text to make it compatible?
Does Premiere Pro CS6 will communicate well with the graphic card? Should I expect some problem that is solved in Premiere CC?
Any toughts would be very helpful !
Since the card didn't exist when CS6 was released, you will need to add it to the CUDA Supported Cards list as you would other cards.
I didn't save any links (don't have that card) but I have read that the 368 series of NVidia driver has a problem so you need to use a 365 series of driver
Other than that, you will also need a MONSTER computer to make that card cost effective
Read the "balanced" article at Tweakers Page
I have the Nvidia GTX 1080 and working with adobe cs6, although i added the card to the CUDA list, it works very bad.
I think the problem could be the CS6, maybe upgrading to CC 2017 will make the card work propertly.
