I've come across this scenario a couple of times now... Whenever I create a table within a table, at some point the table inside a cell disappears. The content is still there but it is just not visible. I can select all and paste it back in and it reappears only to disappear again at a later date.
It can't be a memory issue, as I have 24GB of Ram and a late 2015 model iMac (and the problem occurs on other macs). I have noticed some display performance issues with this release of inDesign where it will switch between typical display performance and high performance when using the drag tool.
Has anyone come across this?
As a suggestion: If enable overprint preview than bug still shows?
Hi George, thanks for getting back to me but no, turning on Overprint Preview makes no difference at all. The content is there but it's just not visible.
Here's an update... after a bit of playing around with fit contents to cell and vice verse. I changed the cell height from At least 1.058mm to 2mm and then back to the default setting and the content appears again and seems to stay visible.
Also as a point of interest, this strange anomaly occurs when text is being edited in a section that is some pages previous to where the table appears.
