I imported a raw image into LR today, worked on the image, then exported as a .tif to a folder on my PC. I opened LR this evening to fine tune some items. When I go to import the saved image, I cannot import it into the Develop module. When I select the folder it opens with the enclosed images being grayed out with no option to open the Develop module. Obviously I have made an error somewhere. How do I recover the image folder in order to open in the Develop module. Thanks.
If I get you correct, you did try to re-import the photo again. There's no need to do this. Actually, you must not re-import.
Photos already imported are greyed-out in the import module to prohibit from importing again by mistake.
All your edits are saved in LR and you can simply select the photo in the library, switch to the develop and continue where you have left off last time.

Why are you trying to import your exported TIF?
If you need to make more changes, edit the original file by adding you changes to the edit history, then export the file again.
Thank you for the help!
