Forcing me into an overpriced document cloud solution because they have such terrible problems with Photoshop pirates is something I'm already unhappy about - but sometimes you have to make decisions like that when people steal your IP so openly. But have just been told by Adobe tech support that despite the marketing promises of the support benefits available for $180 a year (more next year I expect), there is no Support for the product on mobile devices? Software is what I do for a living, so I get it, but it's just not right to sell something but then yank it back when someone actually requests the support promised?
Anyone else had this issue?
I have done some research in the forums yes, no satisfaction there and more importantly - beside the point. Would you pay top dollar for software support if you knew it was just a bench in the garage where the DIY crew talked about how they fixed issues? I just don't regard some space on a server where users can try to help each other as Support per se, more like a convenience. For what Adobe charges for a subscription, the product and support as described on the first level web pages on why you should give up a perpetual license and buy into a cloud service should declare the limits of that Support honestly and without subterfuge. Makes me wonder what other non-existent services I may have purchased in good faith so I can receive a box of nothing when I ask to collect on my investment.
