I haven't been able to find anything on this since 2011-12, hoping there are new solutions available.
This is the project I'm working on: https://indd.adobe.com/view/8089166d-47a5-4f00-b625-13777124fcbb
I have some triangular-shaped buttons all next to each other, which cause the square bounding-boxes to clash with one another.
As a ****** fix, I've made a gazillion small square buttons to fill the odd-shaped spaces, but i think that volume of interactivity might be overwhelming the program, because it's still not working very well.
Wondering if there's been an update to interactive PDFs in the last 4 years that will provide me with a workaround that works.
For the record, I understand this is a universal PDF issue, not just an adobe issue... but I hope a workaround might come from adobe.
They are always rectangular. This product, Alpha Raycaster, purports to have the ability to script irregular interactive areas. I've not used it so can't vouch for it. Perhaps someone who has used it could chime in.
PDF knows only rectangle buttons, contrary to HTML which knows also polygons.
