There basically isn't an Uninstall app on Mac computers. You just Delete the program folder, the App, then reinstall.
There is an uninstall on the mac. the problem is that it no longer appears. I uninstalled before i restored. After I restored & reinstalled from my disk i can't access LR. I get the error1 message.
Please clarify Install from Restore. If you used the TM backup to first Restore LR and then you did a Re-Install that is the wrong process.

The above method of removing Lightroom is incorrect.....
From sometime (Lightroom 6) there has been an Uninstaller for Lightroom on Mac just as there is for Photoshop.
