Now 2016 and no full sorting ability returned yet. This make this video editing program to a bad program if you want to work with a lot of files with a specific time line. So I have 57 photos and film clip and no way you can drag them to Element sorting by time recorder ore taken without the inbuilt file explorer and than a use Windows Movie Maker. Sorting them in Explorer and drag them all in the timeline on Movie Maker. Yes I must use a free program that can do what the program I pay for can't do.
Branched to a new thread. You posted in the Premiere Pro forum to a thread that was 2 years old.
Sort the files on date in Windows explorer. Then rename them all in one go.
Import into Elements and you will have them sorted alphabetically but in fact they are sorted on date.
