So i have been working on an app - i used phonegap nearly a year ago now things have changed slightly

i have the windows desktop app - created the app files .

I have new code (i.e device ready default app is gone)

But every time i try to build the app in phonegap build.phonegap.com and i download the apk all i get is the default app for some reason i dont get why.

Most likely, your directory structure is wrong. The Phonegap Dev App is intended to be used with Phonegap/Cordova CLI, not with PGB, which has different requirements (config.xml, icon.png and index.html in the root of the zip file; the rest either in that root or in any directories under the root).

So, either you uploaded the full Cordova project to PGB, which is all wrong, OR you didn't make sure your config and index.html are in the same (root) directory within your zip file.
