If I have an extension that is invisible, can I keep it running when the user selects Close Project and there's nothing currently running?
I want persistence to enable communication with an outside application, and don't want it to close like all the other extensions do when the user closes the project or changes project.
This is specifically a question for Premiere and the API because Premiere closes extensions automatically.
As of our most recent 10.3 ("Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.3") release, PPro has a setExtensionPersistent() call; this makes PPro keep the panel loaded, across workspace changes (which usually happens when the user closes a project).
That makes me so happy Thanks for implementing that.
