Adjusting audio on music and video track separately?

    chirrchirr Level 1

Hey everyone. I'm a new old premiere clip user and i hadn't opened the app on my phone for awhile. I'm really appreciating all the new and improved features. One thing I was having a lot of trouble determining was whether I could edit the volume of a music track discretely from the audio in the video track itself? Perhaps I'm missing something obvious but i played around with the audio settings and found them a bit confusing.

Thanks a lot for your time!

          Hello Quin,

Welcome back to Clip You can both edit your soundtrack and video audio independently.

To adjust your soundtrack volume, tap on the music note icon on the top of your screen. Once in the Soundtrack menu, move the Volume slider to the desired level.

To adjust the volume of a video clip, select the clip in the sequence, tap on the speaker icon on the bottom of your screen. From there you can either mute the audio or increase or decrease the volume using the volume slider.

          Hope this helps!
