I have been printing with Lightroom on an Epson P600 very successfully. I upgraded Lightroom this past week from a two-year-old version. Now a portrait format 81/2 X 11 photo which printed fine a month ago is being printed without the bottom inch of the photo - the picture is expanding so the top and sides are fine but the bottom runs to the edge of the print paper and is cropped. I have rechecked all the settings and can see no issue. I have printed several landscape format images in the last day without their sides being cropped. The Lightroom print module shows the image in question in completely and correctly.
Does anyone know what I am missing or is this a weird bug?
Just an idea ... Canon printer drivers know a over-scan setting to fine-tune the pintsize/position when printing borderless. Does the Epson printer drive have something alike?
What you see in the print module is sent to the printer driver. If you don't see the same on the printed paper, the only thing in-between is the printer driver.
One thing you could try is to reset preferences because this is known to 'cure' various strange effects: Resetting Preferences in Lightroom CC/6 | Lightroom Blog
Dear Mr. McLion,
Thanks for your trouble. The error is mine. I ran out of paper and inadvertently pulled out some sheets of 8X10 paper which I assumed were 8.5X11 inch paper. Once I specified this on the printer control panel is worked fine.
