I have installed an original bought Premiere Elements 3.0 (hard copy) on my new pc but the program is not used for many months.
I have created a nice little movie in the program but is it not possible to make an MPEG2 file?
The program is asking to go to the following site to get an unlockcode: http://www.adobe.com/go/encoderactivation
But instead I recieve an error: http://www.adobe.com/special/errorpages/404.html
I know that it is an very old program but all the functions on it are good enough for me, also I do not like to use apps on Windows 8.
I use now Windows 8 with an Windows 7 shell.
Does anyone knows what to do?
Kind Regards, Walter.
In early versions of the program, the Main Concept MPEG codec needed to be activated -- which it was automatically the first time you used the program.
But this was 10 years ago, so it's quite possible this function is no longer supported by Adobe or Main Concept.
I'm sorry, but you really need to consider upgrading, Walter. There's just no support out there for a program that came out in 2006.
Yes. I've just had the same problem with elements version 7. Very annoying having just spent hours compiling a slideshow for a DVD. Looks like I have to throw that programme in the bin!
