How do I move something on the timeline after it has already been placed??? I want a movie to start sooner than it does now. This may seem really simple to you pros but I don't get it.

If you could be a bit more specific, or provide us with the FLA file I
might be possible to help you, as long as you don't want us to make time
          travels for you ;-)

A movie clip starts on Frame 110. I want it to start on Frame 50. Or. I want a movie clip to stop on frame 200 instead of 300.

Left click and highlight all of the frames you want to move (just like you would highlight text in microsoft word). Then release the mouse button. Then click (and hold the button) over your highlighted frames and drag them to where you would like them to be.

Move it to frame 50 - select it then drag it to new frame.

Or. I want a movie clip to stop on frame 200 instead of 300.
Add a stop action to frame 300. remove it from frame 200.
