Hi Bob, thank you very much for the reply!
But my issue is little bit different, the illustrator has defined the hot spot in graphic (cgm) file. When i import the file in framemaker, i am not able to see the hotspot. For eg if you open the graphic in the IE, i am able to see the hotspot.

While editing in FM, or in the final object from the workflow (PDF, HTML, XML, eBook?)
I haven't any CGMs at hand with hotspots, but I did just run a test of importing a single page (with links) from a random PDF, then saving the new FM document to another PDF. The links are still there and work just fine. Note: I did make sure to

Hi Bob, thank you for the reply!
The issue which you have briefed here is fine, the link will work.
But my issue is after loading the cgm file into frame maker i have to link the hot spot in the graphic to the text part in the frame maker file.
I am not getting the hot spot link defined by the illustrator in the graphic.
I couldn't able to attach the cgm file here. so please find the below path, where you can find the cgm files for FM12 version.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker12\Structure\xml\S1000D\Resources\install\Bike\samples\illustrations\ICN-S1000DBIKE-AAA-D000000-0-U8025-00536-A-04-1.cgm
Thank you in advance
Anil

Being on FM7, I don't have that example CGM file, and didn't have any luck creating a CGM with a working hotspot in IL10 (due to inadequate Adobe documentation of the steps).

It turns out this isn't the case. Acrobat was adding the link that worked in my test:
