Yes, there will be an update that will provide support for that camera. In the meantime, you can download DNG converter 9.6.1 and create DNG copies that you can use in Lightroom 6.6. Then when the update is released you can switch over to working with the RAF files.
The X-T2 has not yet been released. September is what I hear for the release date. So Adobe won't be updating either ACR or LR to support that camera until that time.
Use the supplied Fuji software, RAW FILE CONVERTER (Silkypix) (If Fuji is supplying software with pre-release units) to convert the RAF files.
I doubt the DNG converter will work either as there is no support for that camera yet. The DNG converter is for working with new supported cameras in older versions of ACR.
