My computer (not just the app) has been crashing (shutting down and needing a re-start) on a regular basis - including twice today already - when the current version of Lightroom CC (2015.6) is open, often only after a few minutes and before it is doing any real "work", such as exporting.
It has, however, also crashed during export. Today, I was simply selecting images for export when it crashed.
Does anyone now if this is a known issue with the latest update, please, or have any suggestions on how to correct it?
Windows 7, 64 bit. Toshiba Satellite Laptop 6GB RAM.
Computer crashing is caused by either a bad video driver or a hardware malfunction.
So, re-install your video driver, and run diagnostic tests on all of your hardware, and also check the fans inside the computer case to make sure they are running properly.
