Adobe 4.5.1 ADE will not clear

I downloaded ADE 4.5.1. I use the application to download books from my public library and then transfer to my Nook Glowlight. The problem is that they will not transfer to my nook. I clear the ADE by returning books to the library and also to remove from my device. Next time I initiate the ADE the same books reappear. The inventory log states that I have: All items: 13 Not Read - 8, Borrowed - 5, Recently Read -5 (not the same as Borrowed, and Recently added - 13.

I need help, since I am not fluent in compter operations to be able to clear the ADE and download and transfer books to my nook.

Its a bug with the current Version of Digital Edition. At moment only work if used Version 3:

Thanks for the response. The question now is when will the bug be fixed, how will I be notified and last how can I download version 3 if it will be a long time.

No Idea. Can only ask a Staff Person or install the version again if has a update and try it. This way was i try. But at moment no update for the software.
