I'm using Flash cc. I've got several mp3 files in my FLV and all was working fine until recently when the voice files stopped working across all three scenes. The sound effects (like background music and random noises) still work. For some reason it's only the voice layers which have stopped (though all the audio files are mp3). I don't know what I may have done. I was only working in the layers in scene 3. I checked the publish settings and the properties of the sound files which appear to be the same as when the layers were working properly.
The problem persists in the play back in "test movie" and after rendering to a different format (like mp4). They also do not work when I hit the play button in the audio symbol in the library and when I hit the play button in the edit envelope. Somehow I've done something which is affecting only the voice audio across every aspect of the program.
Please let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.
UPDATE: The problem persists when I insert the voice mp3s onto a new layer. The problem also persists when I open earlier versions of the file so it seems it's not the FLV or the audio files themselves but rather I've disturbed some setting in the program itself.
UPDATE2: I tried creating a completely new file, importing the voice audio into that library, then inserting it into the time line and the problem persists.
Hi again. Ughhhhh. I am so stupid. My headphones were only partially plugged in so I was hearing only some of the files. -_- Sorry for the false alarm.
