Im looking to purchase photoshop for game design reasons. I am a little confused as when i am on Adobe's website it gives me photography package which is around £8 for Lightroom CC & Photoshop CC, and then it gives me the option to purchase photoshop for £17 ?
Just wondering if anyone could let me know on what the difference is.
Cheers for the help in advance guys.
There's no difference between those versions of Photoshop. Go for the photography package.
When Adobe first introduced the rental model, they were charging about £49 a month for the complete Creative Suite (inc things like Premiere, AfterEffects, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver....) and £19 for an individual application like Photoshop. They then produced the photography plan at half that price - probably with the idea of gaining much greater sales volume by targeting photographers. Whatever the reason, yes the individual app pricing does look odd, but all you need to know is that with the photography plan you're getting Lightroom too (plus Lightroom Mobile), but exactly the same Photoshop.
Thank you for the information. Like you said bit confusing when you first look at it but if it's the same all good. Thanks for detailed response.
