Mercury Transmit locks up in After Effects CC 2015

I just built my PC and find that Mercury Transmit locks up when I open After Effects 2015.

I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 960 GPU. My main monitor is plugged into a display port, my secondary is plugged into an HDMI.

The secondary monitor goes black and won't display anything when I open After Effects. When I exit After Effects the secondary monitor remains black. I have to force-end the process to get After Effects to close.

      Otherwise both monitors function normally.

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks in advance
