1. When sending a document to users, they have stated that the fields are highlighted in blue. This does not display on my document. I've tried various things, but users still say that it displays.
2. Without using the Scroll long text option, how do I allow users to enter unlimited text in a text box?
When I googled, the following information was provided, which I clicked on Allow Multiple Lines checkbox, but I do not have a layout tab.
*On the Field tab of the text field's Object property tab, check the Allow Multiple Lines checkbox
*On the Layout tab, check the Expand To Fit checkbox under Y:/Height
1. Tell them to do this:
Go to Edit - Preferences - Forms and tick off "Show border hover color for fields".
2. That only applies to a special kind of PDF form, one created using LiveCycle Designer.
Assuming your form was created in Acrobat you can't have the field auto-resize. What you can do is have the font size auto-resize (ie, become smaller when there's a lot of text so that it fits in the field), by setting its size to Auto, under Properties - Appearance.
Unfortunately they can still see blue ☹
If that's the case then it must be a fill color of the field itself or a static graphic in the background.
