    Touch Workspace hangs on startup

I just upgraded to the latest version of InDesign on an HP ENVY23 running Windows 10. When I try to run the program, it hangs on the Touch Workspace screen and accepts no input at all (from screen, keyboard, or mouse). I have to go to the Windows Task Manager to exit out of the program. What do I do to get past this. I don't intend to use the touchscreen for editing.
