Awesome job and thanks for your support of PhoneGap/Cordova. Usage of CocoaPods in a PhoneGap/Cordova project is an open issue on JIRA [CB-9825] Support third-party package managers like Cocoapods and Nuget - ASF JIRA and we've had some people working on it for a couple of months now. It's getting really near completion and you can check out the work at Commits · juliascript/cordova-ios · GitHub.
We've really love your input on the way we've implemented things and if you can help out testing in away way that would be fantastic.
This is great. The implementation looks good to me so far. I wanted to use the framework tag in my plugin but didn't want it to interfere with a native implementation in the future, which it looks like it would have. One thing that seems to be missing is the ability to define a pod at the project level, like in the config.xml. This is helpful when a plugin hasn't made use of the new feature or if you need to override or settle conflicts between the pod specification in a plugin.
I'll try to test the implementation out a bit next week. If I wanted to submit changes should submit pull requests against the forked github repo in your link or the apache owned one?
The best thing to do is to comment on the PR CB-9825 cocoapod integration for plugins by juliascript · Pull Request #234 · apache/cordova-ios · GitHub and talk directly to @juliascript and @shazron about the implementation.
