Here are a few choices:
Century Gothic (if you're on Windows)
Futura PT (if you have an Adobe CC subscription with Typekit)
Didact Gothic on Google Web Fonts
I just purchased an OTF licence for this font from fonts.com and still cannot find a way to use it in typekit. Adobe is the Wpple of design. What you purchase is not yours unless Adobe/Apple let you. Yes I have a subscription and have been using Adobe since PS3.
Typekit is not a font manager, but rather, a font subscription service. If you purchased a license for a font from fonts.com, you simply install it on your system (or with any font manager software you are using) and access it as you would any system font.
Yeah I cant figure out how to host my purchase ITC Avant Garde online because it is being blocked by Adobe? Is their any kind of work around. Adobe is the worst some times.
If you have licensed ITC Avant Garde, there is absolutely nothing that Adobe is doing to “block” either the installation or use of said font family on your computer system. As I indicated in a previous post, Typekit is not a font manager and it is not involved at all with fonts that you install directly on your computer system.
What is true is that you can't somehow “install” third party fonts into a Typekit “kit” for web or any other use. Only Typekit fonts may be used in that manner. Why? Adobe can only validate that you are licensed to use fonts that are part of the Typekit service. For ITC Avant Garde, you may find that a comparable service from Monotype may provide a solution (and by the way, their online font service can't host fonts from Typekit or many other foundries).
