Hello, we are working with a developer to create a video broadcasting site using node.js with the koa framework.
The site is nearly complete.
Users will login to the site and view live video from our IP cameras.
Can someone tell me if I should be able to use PhoneGap to turn this site into a native app?
I installed PhoneGap desktop on my PC and created a new project... but it wants me to drop in local files... (html, js)
All the js and html for this new site are up on the server...
Any tips? Any direction?
Thank you so much!
You could try loading your content (html, js) through the phonegap inappbrowser plugin and seeing if that would work.
You might run into issues with cross domain security.
The other solution would be to create API services on your server and have the html & js in the phonegap app consume the server side services.
We have a very thorough API on the server...
So I guess in the phonegap app... we just call to the api...
