      Hi

      After i updated to phonegap cli-6.3.0, did a build and when i open the application it displays the default phonegap image.  Below is my configuration settings for splash screen for ios.  Is there something i must include to remove it?

      <platform name="ios">

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-667h@2x.png"       gap:platform="ios"     width="750" height="1334" />

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Portrait-736h@3x.png"       gap:platform="ios"     width="1242" height="2208" />

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Landscape-736h@3x.png"      gap:platform="ios"     width="2208" height="1242" />

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/screen-iphone-portrait-2x.png"      gap:platform="ios"     width="640" height="960" />

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/screen-iphone-portrait-568h-2x.png" gap:platform="ios"     width="640" height="1136" />

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/screen-ipad-portrait.png"           gap:platform="ios"     width="768" height="1024" />

        <gap:splash src="res/screen/ios/screen-ipad-landscape.png"          gap:platform="ios"     width="1024" height="768" />

      </platform>

          1. You should use the syntax without gap: namespace. See Icons and Splash | PhoneGap Docs

          2. You apparently want splashes for both landscape and portrait. Your set is quite incomplete, as it doesn't contain both landscape and portrait for each dimension pair.

            hi VectorP

            so if i do the below and follow the Icons and Splash | PhoneGap Docs

            it should work?  Thanks btw

            <!-- iPhone and iPod touch --> <splash src="Default.png" platform="ios" width="320" height="480" /> <splash src="Default@2x.png" platform="ios" width="640" height="960" />  <!-- iPhone 5 / iPod Touch (5th Generation) --> <splash src="Default-568h@2x.png" platform="ios" width="640" height="1136" />  <!-- iPhone 6 --> <splash src="Default-667h@2x.png" platform="ios" width="750" height="1334" /> <splash src="Default-Portrait-736h@3x.png" platform="ios" width="1242" height="2208" /> <splash src="Default-Landscape-736h@3x.png" platform="ios" width="2208" height="1242" />  <!-- iPad --> <splash src="Default-Portrait.png" platform="ios" width="768" height="1024" /> <splash src="Default-Landscape.png" platform="ios" width="1024" height="768" />  <!-- Retina iPad --> <splash src="Default-Portrait@2x.png" platform="ios" width="1536" height="2048" /> <splash src="Default-Landscape@2x.png" platform="ios" width="2048" height="1536" />

              That's the proper syntax.

              However:

              - of course, I can't check whether or not you included those images, with the correct dimensions, under the specified path

              - you still need to include the other splash images, since several are still missing.

                If i include the below for IOS it should be complete?

                <!-- iPhone and iPod touch -->
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default.png" platform="ios" width="320" height="480" />
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default@2x.png" platform="ios" width="640" height="960" />

                <!-- iPhone 5 / iPod Touch (5th Generation) -->
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-568h@2x.png" platform="ios" width="640" height="1136" />

                <!-- iPhone 6 -->
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-667h@2x.png" platform="ios" width="750" height="1334" />
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Portrait-736h@3x.png" platform="ios" width="1242" height="2208" />
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Landscape-736h@3x.png" platform="ios" width="2208" height="1242" />

                <!-- iPad -->
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Portrait.png" platform="ios" width="768" height="1024" />
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Landscape.png" platform="ios" width="1024" height="768" />

                <!-- Retina iPad -->
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Portrait@2x.png" platform="ios" width="1536" height="2048" />
                <splash src="res/screen/ios/Default-Landscape@2x.png" platform="ios" width="2048" height="1536" />

                  No!

                  You should have both landscape and portrait for each and every image.

                  (The first four of your set don't have a landscape version)
