Hi, I have lightroom installed on 2 different PCs, and I sync one catalog between the two of them (through dropbox). I've been editing my photos on both PCs flawlessly until about one week ago. On my Laptop, lens corrections aren't being applied correctly. When I used to tick "enable profile corrections", the photo would automatically correct with the right camera (Nikon) and lens (35mm f1.8). Additionally, there used to be a huge list of lenses. Now, it only shows a very small list. I've attached two screenshots (one from my desktio and one with my laptop). The laptop is the one with the issues. On both computers, all camera and lens profile files are installed identically.
Are you working on raw files? Most lens profiles are only valid for raw files and not for jpegs or tiffs.
The small list is for JPGs (non-raw) and the large list is for RAWs since most lens profiles are only for raw photos.
The question is why if you apparently have a JPG selected does it show the long list for raws, in the bottom screenshot.
We can't see what the filename is in the top screenshot but if it is the same JPG then it is working as designed.
