I have a simple 5 state MSO. I'd like to animate the page that loads and this works when not in MSO.
When I combine the first animated state with the rest in an MSO it stop the animation from working.
The rest of the states will have simple animation 'ON STATE LOAD'
The first state has no option to animate 'ON PAGE LOAD' though.
I can animate the whole MSO so the fist page fades in but can't get the individual elements to animate.
I'd like to hit the reader with some animation on the first page and I'm happy to keep the rest of the MSO simple after that.
Maybe it can't be done but it does seem like a basic technique/result.
Any help appreciated as usual...
Yes, the problem is always the first state of the MSO. As you discovered you can add an animation to a state (by selecting the object wit a double click in that state, most even never knew that by the way) you no longer have a On Page Load. You could duplicate the first object of your MSO as a stand alone object, animate that and then have the MSO come in as a group animation maybe on top.
That's a brilliant workaround Frans, thanks very much!!
