Thanks, but, my question is specifically about organizing the tags automatically generated during the facial recognition process. As far as I can tell, your link only talks about hierarchical keywords in general. I know how to manually organize tags hierarchically. The question is how to get LR to put it's facial recognition tags inside that hierarchy somewhere, and not just splayed all across the root of the hierarchy...
You can right click a parent keyword in the Keyword List panel, and choose Put New Person Keywords inside this Keyword.
Also you can use the same technique using the Greater Than sign ">". So you can enter new keyword as GrandParent > Parent >Fred.
All my LR facial recognition tags end up in the root of the keyword hierarchy, which makes things really messy. I'd prefer to have all face recognition tags be put in a folder (perhaps named "People"...). Any idea how to configure this? Couldn't find a solution anywhere...
Create your "People" keyword, then right-click on it and put a check-mark against the option to "Put New Person Keywords inside this Keyword". Face tags are automatically designated as "person keywords", so with that option set all your face tags will be placed under the "People" hierarchy.
