Are Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop elements compatible in how they store facial data: name tags and coordinates of the person in the picture?

My issue: migrating from Picasa to Photoshop.

I have a lot of albums in Picasa (the desktop version, Win 10, facial metadata embedded in the image files). They include plenty of facial data. I’d like to move now to Photoshop (haven’t decided yet between CC for photographers and PSE).

I think that I found what I need to do with Picasa facial data in order to have LR recognize them fully (name + rectangular face regions). I will have to work with EXIF editor and copy some fields around in each picture before the import to LR. (Explained at answers 3-6 in https://forums.adobe.com/message/7512379#7512379 . My question is: If the process succeeds, and it'll comply with LR 6 but eventually I’ll decide to start with PSE and not with Creative Cloud, will PSE recognize the facial data (that LR 6 recognizes) and display them fully (names and rectangular face regions)?

      Thank you for your help
