Hi all, I've used Flash for a LONG time (can you say Future Splash) and coded a lot in AS1/2/3. I also know my way around vanilla JS. I'm wanting to create a simple project in Animate CC 2015 but am struggling to find the documentation.
Is there scripting API documentation somewhere that shows the DOM and how to use it? Most of the tutorials I see are for old Edge workflows and involve hacking stuff into the published files which is a fail as far as I'm concerned.
For example, how do I make some code execute after the Animate page is loaded? Is there something like a stage.onLoad callback? If so where the documentation for it?

You put it in the first frame of the main timeline, just like always.
Adobe has written several blog posts on transitioning from AS2/AS3 to HTML5 Canvas, like this one.
The audio/visual API for Canvas documents is the CreateJS library. Publishing converts timeline animations to CreateJS code, but you can also code against the API directly and it all plays together pretty well.
