What is your screen mode set to? Normal?
Tried places the images as PDF or JPEG
Did you try .AI format? Or when saving as PDF try using the PDF/X-4 preset
What happens, if you change to Priview QUality to high?
Where did you make this drawing? If this is a vector file use PDF/X-4 or AI and if the creator program does not support one of them, use EPS. (But EPS should be avoided in modern days.)
Preview quality is set to High- for the document and objects.
Sadly inserting as AI, PDF/X-4, or EPS do not seem to make a difference
This file was made in AI, with images in the background.
Other images with similar view problems were made in Photoshop as a mix of vector and images, rastorized and flattened.
The best preview I can get is if it is saved and inserted as a JPEG. But does this greatly reduce the quality? Or is there a good method to do this?
If you create this file in Illustrator never use JPG, use AI or PDF/X-4, nothing else.
How did you import the file? Via File > Place…
Yes, imported via File - Place
The issue seems to be with viewing the line weights. If I continue to zoom in very close to a small portion of the image it becomes clear.
Don't bother about it, this is normal.
Seems its all my CAD drawings that are giving the viewing problems
Thank you for the help everyone!
