I have been using Photoshop Lightroom (OK, I confess... a steam-driven version 3) very successfully with all the OS X updates I have gone through since buying LR. However, since I shifted from Yosemite to El Capitan 10.11.6 some time ago, LR no longer recognises my camera (a Nikon D700 FX DSLR). When I plug it in, it simply no longer appears in the 'source' options; nothing happens.
I have never received any notifications from Adobe about updates. Is there a patch available to enable the two to sync once more? Or do I have to fork out again for the current version?
If you are talking about tethering than El Capitan broke tethering for Lightroom versions before Lightroom 6.
Thanks for your quick response, Bob... much appreciated, even though I've not been able to reply until now!
Please forgive my crass ignorance in these things, but just to clarify for my pathetic benefit... that means I ditch my old v3 CD and effectively start again with v6? I can't just upload a patch? (Think I see the answer, but would just appreciate your confirmation).
Thanks, my friend.
