I created a relatively simple animation in InDesign CC and have a working SWF, but I would like it instead as a GIF so I can place it in Medium. It wouldn't be backbreaking to re-create it in another program (it's a spinning multi-colored wheel with text) but I have less Photoshop experience and no Animate experience. What's the best route to create a GIF from this file? I'm willing to work in one of these other programs but just want to know where to start. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide.
Thank you--I should have mentioned that I've tried a few free online converters included Convertio and CloudConvert and I got an error each time. CloudConvert said "SWF compressed file detected. [name of my file]: could not find codec parameters". I can't tell if there are compression settings in the SWF setting in InD, I tried JPEG lossy and PNG lossless settings but it didn't change the error.
Thanks again for the suggestion.
