Are you asking about Adobe Sign: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/sign/free-trial-global.html
which is an e-signature solution, or true digital signatures that use certificate-based digital IDs: About certificate signatures in Adobe Acrobat
I'm talking about Adobe Sign which I believe is part of the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC package.
Also, I specifically asked one of the representatives at Adobe (via the web chat) if adobe sign is digital signatures or jsut electronic signatures. I was told it was Digital signatures. I see from your response, that this seems wrong.
There's a lot of confusion about the difference between electronic signatures (aka e-signatures) and digital signatures. Adobe Sign does not use digital signatures and you can sign up for a free trial of the service at the first link I provided above. Although Adobe Sign is integrated with Acrobat DC in a number of ways (e.g., compatible form creation, send for signature), there is an additional charge (monthly or yearly subscription) for the service when you need to get a document signed by someone.
I've got to be honest here, I think the adobe acrobat DC website is nothing short of false advertising. See E-sign PDFs, collect form data & comments | Adobe Acrobat DC .
It clearly says "Get legal e-signatures", "Send legally binding documents that recipients can sign from anywhere, worldwide in a browser on a mobile device".
Nowhere does it say you will have to pay extra for this service.
Are you absolutely sure that to use the signature capabilities, costs extra??

I'm talking about the Pro version for $16.99 per month per user. You will see under the "Sign and Collect" section it says "collect e-signatures from others and track responses in real time".
Sorry for not responding sooner and my confusion, but I just noticed your response. An individual plan is included with Acrobat DC as mentioned in the Purchasing Adobe Sign section at the following link: Adobe Sign FAQs
So if you buy Acrobat, you don't have to pay anything additional unless you want the the features available in the Business or Enterprise plans.
