Temp and Tint values depend on the camera profile so can change from what you have set in camera. Not sure why Tint would be varying, though, unless it is between the two different cameras’ photos.
What’s important is that neutrals are still neutral. Are they?
Presumably you’re talking about what happens when you have As Shot set for the WB, right? And it’s not that there is some ISO-dependent Custom WB default that’s not As Shot.
I have this issue as well.
So let me rephrase the OP question, as I don't feel it's been answered:
- When I set a manual WB in camera e.g. 5300K
- How do I get LR to respect that setting when it imports the RAW file without having to set it again manually in LR?
Are you working with, importing, RAW image files or JPG files?
And here is the relevant info from using EXIFTOOL:
White Balance : Manual Temperature (Kelvin)
Color Temperature : 5300
I see there has been issues with WB on import previously.
