was the QuickTime movie compressed with?

Which codec should I be using!?

How large is the QuickTime file? Can you post it somewhere?
The latest Director MX 2004 update only addresses issues for Flash 8 support and not QuickTime 7. Until the QuickTime Asset Xtra is updated to officially support QuickTIme 7, you will need to find the most compatible settings for your QuickTime movie.
I suggest that you test the sample MOV (techsupp.mov) file in the Director MX 2004 CD and test it out. If that works then you may want to try using it's settings to you own movie.
