Why do you think this has anything to do with Adobe?
According to Acrolinx support, the plugin is ready from their side but is pending Adobe approval.
I found this link for CC 2014:
Acrolinx Plug-in Documentation
It is impossible for the volunteers on this forum to know when the next release for Acolinx will come out, of course.
If Adobe needs to approve it, then we all will find out the date when it happens, most likely. Anything else would be an unauthorized leak.
I know that's not what you want to hear; you want to hear that it will be released today in one hour!
What does it do, out of curiosity?
That makes sense jane-e. I was actually hoping someone would say "check back with Acrolinx, that plug-in was approved last week!"...
We are moving our group of Designers and Technical Writers to CC 2015 in the next month or so. Hopefully the plug-in will be approved and available by that time.
To quench your curiosity...Acrolinx is a Content Management software. The plug-in allows InDesign to access the Acrolinx server in order to check document text against our Term database, predetermined grammar rules and our sentence reuse repository.
I appreciate your reply to my post.
Perfect! Thank you!
Yay! Funny how things work... I read your thread that morning (having never heard of Acrolinx), and later in the day I was on the addons page looking for something else, and there it was.
