I'm shooting with a Panasonic DVX 100b in 24pA. Within my means it seems the only way to edit the footage is by capturing with WinDV, and then editing with Elements (my computer doesn't support the latest Premiere Pro).
I've read a lot about the 2:3:3:2 pulldown issue, so I'm wondering if I need to be concerned about this if I'm to edit with Elements.
Any advice (other than "Get a new computer!")
What is lacking to support PrPro?
I dont understand much about pull down as I am in pal-land.
But capture with windv, import and make sure you have a ntsc dv project and I think you will be fine.
Have you tried it yet?
Premiere Elements can edit 4:3 video and 16:9 video. If you try to edit other aspect ratios in Premiere Elements, the video will be letterboxed.
