    Weird stripes in black background in Develop when GPU is activated on current Mac Pro


      Hello everyone,



      I have a problem with Lightroom, that could be a bug in the current version. In a photo with a black background I happen to see vertical stripes in the development module, but only if I tell LR to use the GPU. As the eye-dropper in LR and PS show, the background is 100% black. the same stripes appear in a completely black image generated in PS, when viewed in LR's Develop module. Exported files do not show the stripes. If I move the photo around with the "hand tool" in the Develop module, the stripes stay in one place and do not move with the photo. The problem only appears on my Mac Pro (D300 GPU) and not on my Macbook Pro. Please have a look at the screenshots and let me know, what you think.

      GPU is on...vertical stripes appear. They may not be visible on every screen, poor screens might not differentiate +-1 in L*AB.

      GPU is on, but no stripes in the Library...expected, as it does not use the GPU

      No stripes in PS, either. The info palette definitely shows a continuous 0/0/0 when the mouse is moved over the black background...just in case ;-)


      I haven't noticed this problem in older versions of LR 6, only after updating from 6.5.1 to 6.6.1.


      Does anyone have an idea what is going on? I can only come up with two explanations: 1. A bug in LR or 2. My Mac happens to have a hardware problem that appeared between my initial shooting/editing of this photo and revisiting it in the current LR release.
